Straddling the US-Canadian border, Niagara Falls is within reach of Toronto - and really worth it. The three drops combined, the Horseshoe Falls, the United states Falls together with Bridal Veil Falls, form the greatest movement rate of any waterfall worldwide (around 2, 400 m3 per 2nd). 3. Montreal
The second biggest town in Canada, Montreal is France's home out of the house. The city's formal language is French and talked by over fifty percent of this population. 5. The Canadian Rockies
The Canadian Rockies period British Columbia and Alberta and it is one of the planet's many impressive hill ranges. Featuring mind-boggling scenery and a number of Canada's greatest peaks, the spot is perfect for explorers. There are also some ski resorts into the hill range, including Banff.

6. Whistler
Among the united states's largest and a lot of popular ski hotels hosted the Winter Olympics in 2010 and boasts some 8, 000 acres of pistes and 1, 610m of vertical. Its ski location across two mountains - Whistler and Blackcomb - enjoys a long period from November to May and a remarkable and trustworthy typical snowfall.

7. The Yukon
The north west part of Canada is a simple expanse of peaks, wildlife and adventure. The Yukon hosts the greatest mountain in Canada, Mount Logan (5, 959m) and it is a treasure trove of pristine nature. Recreations enthusiasts can paddle waterways in canoes and kayaks, ride or stroll tracks, ski and snowboard or take to ice climbing and puppy sledding.

8. Quebec and Quebec City
Quebec, the largest province in Canada, and its own capital, Quebec City, are on the country's east shore, and play number for some of Canada's most breathtaking countryside. Quebec City is just one of the oldest settlements in the united states, French-speaking and home into Château Frontenac, a 19th century resort that dominates the city's skyline. 9. Ottawa
For a money town, Ottawa is tiny and friendly and nowhere nearby the size of alternatives Toronto and Montreal. The town is charming and bike-friendly, peaceful and civilised, and a great base for exploring the Canadian backwoods on its home in Ontario.

10. Nova Scotia and Halifax
Nova Scotia, or brand new Scotland, isn't entirely dissimilar to its etymological cousin - famed because of its fish, nautical heritage and modest weather. Its capital, Halifax, played a job in rescuing survivors from the Titanic over a century ago, and before that was the conclusion point for Royal Mail Ship Britannia's crossing from Liverpool in 1840, arriving at the historical slot after just 12 times at ocean.
